Deployment/Transactions:

Units are transported “flat packed” thus increasing speed and cost effectiveness in delivery to sites. Units can be pre-positioned & stored outside and stationed contiguous to areas of potential need;

Current Projects:

SCD Group is currently working with FEMA & The Texas Department of Housing on the Alternative Housing Pilot Program (AHPP) providing housing to Houston & East Texas with a goal of establishing alternative housing technologies for use in disaster situations. Other Projects include a recently awarded FEMA contract for up to 1,000 homes annually for use by the Federal Government in future disasters;

Flexibility in Configurations/UFAS Compliancy

The “Modular” system allows satisfaction of all usage requirements including multi & single family housing, group accommodation, office complexes, medical facilities and community centers. Flexibility in design allows easy accommodations of individuals with special needs in accordance with UFAS requirements without significant design alterations offering increased cost savings;

Cost Effectiveness:

Savings are reached in both the front end logistic/delivery costs and in back end savings due to the product durability and re-use of buildings that is not possible with other housing solutions. Overall cost effectiveness greatly exceeds that of the “FEMA Trailer” and other manufactured housing.

Wind Resistance:

Capable of withstanding 145 mph winds (Category 3 Hurricanes) as Standard and up to 200 mph winds with strengthened support.
